Brijendra Singh, a BJP MP for Haryana, leaves the party and is expected to join the Congress

The Hisar Assembly constituency’s Brijendra Singh, an MP, announced his resignation with “compelling political reasons” as his rationale.

Ahead of the approaching Lok Sabha elections, Haryana MP Brijendra Singh resigned from the party’s primary membership, dealing a blow to the BJP. On March 10, the MP for the Hisar Assembly seat announced his resignation on social networking platform X, formerly known as Twitter, claiming “compelling political reasons.”

It’s anticipated that Mr. Singh would join the Indian National Congress.

In addition to expressing his resignation, the Hisar MP thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and BJP President J.P. Nadda for granting him the chance to represent Hisar as an MP.
