Gautam Gambhir to quit politics? KKR mentor asks BJP to relieve ‘me of political duties’

New Delhi: In a formal statement released on X, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Member of Parliament Gautam Gambhir conveyed his request to party leader JP Nadda to be released from his political responsibilities. The prominent Delhi politician, known for his vocal criticisms of Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal, cited his desire to concentrate on imminent cricket engagements.

Gambhir articulated, “I have approached BJP President JP Nadda ji, seeking relief from my political responsibilities to allow me to prioritize my upcoming cricket commitments. I extend my sincere gratitude to Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji and Home Minister Amit Shah ji for affording me the opportunity to serve the people. Jai Hind!”
