Tourists left stranded as petrol station operators strike in Rajasthan: Demand for VAT reduction; government loses Rs. 35 crore every day; motorists travel to Haryana and Uttar Pradesh

On the call of Rajasthan Petroleum Dealers Association, a strike has started at petrol pumps in the state from 6 am on Sunday (March 10). This strike is being conducted to demand reduction in VAT (Value Added Tax) rates on petrol and diesel. The strike will continue till March 12 (6 am).

However, petrol pump operators of many districts joined the strike.
