Parineeti Chopra and Diljit Dosanjh were present for the trailer presentation for their upcoming film Chamkila in Mumbai. Diljit even started crying at one point when Imtiaz Ali, the film’s director, complimented him.Diljit even made contact with his hero AR Rahman’s foot. The film’s soundtrack was composed by the Oscar-winning composer.
The film, which stars Parineeti Chopra and musician-actor Diljit Dosanjh, centers on the lives and times of Amar Singh Chamkila, a well-known Punjabi singer in the 1980s who was shot and killed in 1988 together with his singer-wife Amarjot.
