LIC, TCS, and SBI all saw increases in their market values of ₹49,200 crore, ₹35,000 crore, and ₹10,500 crore, respectively.
The market value of four of the top ten valued companies in the nation increased by more than ₹171 lakh crore, with Life Insurance Corporation (LIC) of India and HDFC Bank emerging as the top gainers.
In contrast, the market valuation of the six surviving companies in the top 10 pack dropped by more over ₹78,000 crore.
The market value of HDFC Bank increased by ₹76,880.74 crore to ₹11,77,065.34 crore, making it the largest gainer out of the four. LIC has increased by ₹49,208.48 crore to ₹6,27,692.77 crore.
Next, with ₹34,733.64 crore added, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) now has a market capitalization (mcap) of ₹14,39,836.02 crore. With a gain of ₹10,486.42 crore, the State Bank of India (SBI) currently has a market capitalization of ₹6,82,152.71 crore.
The foursome contributed ₹1,71, 309.28 crore in total.
The defeated
Conversely, Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) suffered the worst loss, losing ₹38,462.95 crore as its market worth plummeted to ₹19,75,547.68 crore. The market capitalization of ICICI Bank and Bharti Airtel decreased by ₹9458.25 crore to ₹7,60,084.40 crore and ₹21,206.58 crore to ₹6,73,831.90 crore, respectively.
