The fee that Anurag Kashyap would charge for meeting new people has been disclosed. If anyone “really thinks” they can afford it, he invited them all to give him a call.
Anurag Kashyap, a filmmaker, wrote something indignant in response to “random people who think they’re creative geniuses”. This is Anurag’s announcement on Instagram on Saturday that he will now charge for meeting new people. (Read Also: Anurag Kashyap claims that 90% of female directors are fakes)
He added, “I wasted a lot of time attempting to assist novices, and I generally got terrible work in return. I don’t want to waste my time anymore meeting strangers who believe they are creative geniuses. I shall thus have rates today.”
“If someone wants to meet me for 10-15 minutes, I will charge 1 lac, for half an hour, 2 lac, and for an hour, 5 lac,” the filmmaker continued. That’s the pace. I’m over squandering time on meetings. Give me a call or just shut up if you truly believe you can afford it. And everyone paid in advance (emoji with folded hands).”
With a heartfelt comment, he shared the photo. Please don’t call, text, or dm me. After you pay, you’ll get time. I am fed up with individuals searching for quick routes, and I am not a charity.” “Forwarding this to everyone in my dms and email who keep sending me scripts to forward to you (face with tears of joy emoji)” was how his daughter Aaliyah Kashyap responded to the post.
“But Babu, wouldn’t people who can pay for your time more likely waste your time as much, if not more?,” Shahana Goswami remarked. I concur with the first section, but how about if you don’t meet anyone and instead allow fate bring you together by chance to find your collaborators?” Kubbra Sait said, “Amen, please (insert fire emoji).”
