The event will end on Wednesday, having started on March 18. The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) has provided assistance for the Startup Mahakumbh, which is being jointly organized by prominent industry bodies such as the Indian Venture and Alternate Capital Association (IVCA) and the Bootstrap Incubation & Advisory Foundation.
– “Startup Mahakumbh” is India’s largest startup event, with “unprecedented participation,” according to a statement issued by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry. It provides a dynamic platform for all parties involved in the nation’s startup ecosystem. The ministry emphasized the role it plays in supporting the development of new industries like deep tech, agritech, biotech, medtech, artificial intelligence, and gaming.
– Prominent investors, innovators, and budding entrepreneurs showed a great deal of interest in the event, which aims to foster innovation and entrepreneurship countrywide.
The ministry said in a statement that it provided a lively environment for networking and collaboration with over 2000 startups, 1000+ investors, 100+ unicorns, 300+ incubators & accelerators, 3,000+ conference delegates, 10+ country delegations, 3000+ future entrepreneurs, and 50,000+ business visitors.
During the three days of the event, prominent industry leaders and officials spoke to the audience, highlighting the critical role that startups play in propelling India’s economic development and prosperity.
Ten themed pavilions were present during the event, demonstrating the depth and breadth of innovation in sectors including gaming and e-sports, gaming & deep tech, AI & SaaS, Fintech, Agritech, Biotech & Pharma, and incubators.
Promising entrepreneurs were able to present their cutting-edge goods and services in a designated display space, which aided in productive conversations and possible investor partnerships.
