For the IPL, Rishabh Pant does not yet have a clearance for his fitness. The Delhi Capitals requested Pant’s fitness report from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), however as of right now, the team management has not heard back. The IPL will begin play on March 22.
Sources close to Dainik Bhaskar claim that Pant has not yet gotten the BCCI certificate proving he passed the fitness test. This raises questions regarding whether he will play in the IPL. Experts from the National Cricket Academy (NCA) believe Pant is not suited to play in the game.
The Delhi Capitals, Pant’s team, did not refute this when Dainik Bhaskar questioned them about it; instead, they merely stated that there isn’t any information at this time.
Pant is not even on Delhi’s roster.
If sources are to be believed, Delhi Capitals has not yet included Rishabh Pant in its squad due to not getting fitness clearance. However, the team management can request BCCI to keep Pant in the squad as an extra player.
