PSU and Board-Corporation workers in Haryana will receive pensions: The state’s old age pension plan, which was closed in 2015, will be modified to provide benefits to 20,000 people.

An estimated 20,000 former workers of Haryana’s Public Sector Undertakings (PSU), Boards, and Corporations will get pensions at retirement. The state government discontinued the old age pension in 2015. Nine years later, in his most recent budget statement, Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar has once more pledged to provide former employees with the benefit of an old age pension.
