On Tuesday, two prominent Purvanchal leaders, Om Prakash Rajbhar and Dara Singh Chauhan, were included in the Yogi cabinet. The voters in their respective castes are thought to be influenced by both leaders. Both of the leaders were affiliated with SP prior to the 2022 assembly elections. reverted to the BJP in the absence of an SP government. The BJP is currently anticipating a sizable voting base among the Chauhan and Rajbhar backward castes. The BJP’s approach is also viewed as a PDA attack.
