An anti-tank missile strike in Israel claimed the life of a Kerala man and injured two others.

Since October 8, Hezbollah has been attacking Israeli villages and military installations in the north, claiming to be doing so in support of Gaza.

Officials reported that on March 4, an anti-tank missile fired from Lebanon struck an orchard close to the Israeli settlement of Margaliot, near the country’s northern border, killing one Indian national and injuring two more.

The three victims are from Kerala, a state in the south.

According to Zaki Heller, a spokesman for rescue services Magen David Adom (MDA), the missile struck a plantation in Margaliot, a moshav (communal agricultural community) in the Galilee region of northern Israel, on Monday at around 11 a.m.

The attacker claimed the life of Keralan Patnibin Maxwell from Kollam. According to official authorities, his lifeless remains were identified at Ziv Hospital.

Bush They added that Paul Melvin and Joseph George had been hurt and were being treated in hospitals.

George was injured on his face and body and was sent to the Beilinson hospital in Petah Tikva. He was placed under observation following surgery, is making a full recovery. He was able to communicate with his Indian family,” a PTI government source said.

Melvin is being treated at Ziv Hospital in Safed, a city in northern Israel, after suffering minor injuries. He is from Kerala’s Idukki district.
According to the MDA, the incident resulted in the deaths of one foreign worker and the injuries of seven others.

The strike is thought to have been carried out by the Shi’ite Hezbollah group in Lebanon, which has been supporting Hamas during the ongoing conflict in the Gaza Strip by launching rockets, missiles, and drones at northern Israel on a daily basis since October 8.

According to MDA, the attack caused injuries to seven foreign workers in total, two of which were serious. The injured workers were transported to Beilinson, Rambam, and Ziv hospitals via Israeli Air Force helicopters and ambulances.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) stated on Monday that they had retaliated by using artillery to bombard the launch site.

The Israeli Defense Forces (MIDF) also reported that it had hit two Hezbollah locations: one near Ayta ash-Shab, southern Lebanon, and another at a complex where the group was meeting.

Since October 8, Hezbollah has been attacking Israeli villages and military installations in the north, claiming the operations are in support of Gaza.
