A bench consisting of Justices J B Pardiwala, Manoj Misra, and Chief Justice D Y Chandrachud directed the AAP to apply to the Land and Development Office for a land allocation for its offices.

On March 4, the Supreme Court gave the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) till June 15, 2024, to leave its Rouse Avenue offices. The court noted that the Delhi High Court had been given the land for the purpose of developing its judicial infrastructure.

A bench consisting of Justices J B Pardiwala, Manoj Misra, and Chief Justice D Y Chandrachud directed the AAP to apply to the Land and Development Office for a land allocation for its offices.

The bench added that AAP does not have the legal authority to remain on the land. “We would request the L&DO to process the application and communicate its decision within a period of four weeks,” the bench stated.
